Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for PLW
- Electrician, Mechanic, Machinist, Fitter:
10th/Matric pass (or 10+2) with minimum 50% marks and ITI in the relevant trade. - Welder (Gas & Electric):
Minimum 8th pass with ITI certification in the relevant trade.
Age Limit (as on 22 December 2025)
- For Electrician / Mechanic / Machinist / Fitter: 15–24 years
- For Welder (G&E): 15–22 years
- Age relaxation applies for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per government norms.
Other Requirements
- Valid ITI certificate (NCVT / SCVT) in the applied trade
- Indian citizenship
- Registration under the national apprenticeship system (if required)
