The BCECEB has reopened the 2025 application window for the post of Senior Resident / Tutor (Phase‑III), offering 193 total vacancies.
The online application process re‑started on 21 November 2025, and the last date to submit applications is 27 November 2025 (fee payment and form submission). A correction window is also available until 28 November 2025.
What You Should Know: Eligibility, Fees & Posts
- Total Posts: 193.
- Educational Qualification: A postgraduate degree (Master’s) in the relevant subject is required. In case of shortage of candidates, under certain conditions, diploma holders may be considered — but they’ll be placed below Post‑graduates in merit ranking.
- Quota Distribution for Posts: Roughly 40% posts are reserved for members of Bihar State Health Service cadre; 40% for doctors who completed their postgraduate degree under Residency‑scheme from medical colleges within Bihar; and remaining 20% for doctors with postgraduate degree from recognised institutions outside Bihar.
- Application Fee: ₹ 2,250 for all candidates.
- Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
- General / EWS Male — up to 37 years
- General / EWS Female, BC / EBC — up to 40 years
- SC / ST — up to 42 years
How to Apply
- The application is entirely online via the official BCECEB portal.
- Steps: Register on the portal → fill out the application form with personal/educational/professional details → upload required documents → pay fee online (debit/credit card, net banking, UPI, etc.) → submit.
- After submission, print or save the confirmation/receipt for future reference.
Selection Process & What Comes Next
Selection will be based on a merit list.
Shortlisted candidates may then undergo verification/documentation (and possibly medical examination), as per BCECEB’s standard hiring protocols.
